How do I rent items from Bee’s Vintage Rentals?
It’s so easy! We have an amazing collection of vintage furniture, china, crystal and props, really neat one-of-a-kind pieces. We rent our pieces to brides, or stylist, or art directors, or interior designers.
We are not event planners. Think of us as a giant prop house that can add a certain element to your event. Shop through our pictures, save your favorites to your wish list or email us using our contact form. We will respond to you within 24-48 business hours to learn more about your upcoming event and check to see if items are available. We will then create a proposal for you.
As all our items are one of a kind, everything is rented on a first come first serve basis. To reserve your items, you will pay a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining 50% will be payable 2 weeks prior to your event date. It’s easy! You can fill out your wish list and pay online using our secure payment system.
How do I create my wish list?
To create a wish list, add the vintage pieces and quantities to your cart. Once you are happy with your wishes and selections, and they are added to your cart, click “Submit”. Within 24 hours we will check our inventory for your special selections and email you to let you know if your pieces are available. Please note that many of our pieces are one of a kind and will book up quickly.
How does delivery work?
We service Crested Butte, Gunnison, Telluride, Montrose, Aspen, Vail, and all the towns in between. Should you live out of these areas please contact us as we love an adventure.
We require a $500 rental minimum for all delivery orders under 150 miles. All orders over 150 miles we require a $3000 rental minimum. Our delivery service starts at $350 and goes up based on mileage, items requested, and access to the venue. Our delivery service includes delivery, set up, break down and pick up. We require a 3-hour window for delivery and pick up unless other- wise arranged in writing.
Once we receive your 50% deposit, you will fill out a Delivery Details Form to make sure we have everything to make the delivery go smoothly. One week prior to your event, we will confirm your delivery details and provide you with the point of contact for our delivery team.
What if I want just a few items, Can I pick them up myself?
Definitely! You can pick up small pieces and some furniture from our warehouse. We require a $300 minimum for all pick up orders, if your wish list is less than $300 please contact us to discuss availability. All upholstery furniture, Rattan furniture, and other delicate pieces are not available for pick up.
Do I need a special vehicle to pick up items?
Due to the delicate nature of most of our items, all furniture items must be picked up in a cargo van (no seats) or a box truck. No SUV’s, vans, or open pick-up trucks will be accepted for pick up. Furniture must be strapped down to prevent falling over during transit.
China, props and small items can be picked up in any vehicle.
How long is the rental period?
The rental period for all items is 24 hours. We would be happy to rent it to you for longer, please contact us and we will accommodate your requests.
Can I change an order once it is reserved?
All one of a kind pieces or two of a kind pieces such as bars, upholstered pieces, furniture and décor are not removable once they are reserved. Non unique items such as farm tables, china and crystal may be reduced by 10% up to 14 days prior to the event.
Can I see the items in person?

What if I stain or break it?
We understand that it happens to the best of us! We include a mandatory 10% damage waiver on every delivery order and a 15% damage waiver is added to every pick up order. This covers any normal wear and tear. The damage waiver does not cover gross negligence such as damage caused by children with sharpies – We have heard of this – or damage due to neglect such as water from rain or snow. If the item breaks, we do charge a replacement cost of 5 times the rental fee for china and crystal and props. Furniture is charged on a per piece basis. This damage waiver can be removed if you have a wedding or event insurance policy. We just ask that you supply us with a certificate of insurance.
Farm tables! Tell me more!
Our farm tables are made from reclaimed wood pieces and reclaimed wrought iron and metal. They are hand-made and well loved. They have that wonderful patina and rustic look that marries so well with the Colorado frame of mind we all love. We have 3 of these wonderful tables and they can be attached together to make a single long table. Each table is 10 feet long.
How do I care for vintage china and crystal?
Our china is fragile. Please do not place it in the dishwasher or extremely hot water. Before being returned to Bees Vintage Rental, the china and crystal must be rinsed of any food particles and wine deposits and hand dried or the client will have to pay a china and crystal cleaning fee.
All tea cups must be thoroughly rinsed and free of any tea or coffee remnants inside this stains or valuable cups!
Do you have tents, linens or string lights?
We do not carry these at this time. Please ask us for recommendations, we do have some favorites!
